Lucky in love
In true Miami fashion, our story began on a Sunday boat day at Beer Can Island in August of 2021. Dash offered Rachel a drink, and as they say, the rest is history.
Their first date was at SeaSpice, and Dash definitely understood the assignment. He arrived with flowers, and the two instantly clicked. One bottle (or maybe two) of rosé later, they had talked for hours and somehow managed to close down the restaurant.
From that night on, they were pretty much inseparable, spending every day together. Just two weeks later, Dash made it official during a magical evening at The Surf Club at the Four Seasons.
A few years later, Dash managed to pull off the ultimate surprise. What Rachel thought was simply his birthday celebration at Regatta turned into something much bigger. With the water behind them and the sun setting, Dash got down on one knee and asked Rachel to marry him. After the easiest “yes,” they celebrated the night away with the people they love.
